Hilton Garden Inn Lakewood

staff was very friendly, place was very clean (hot tub was down for maintenance but otherwise everything was up to what you would expect from a Hilton.

Breakfast was surprisingly tasty. The beds were comfortable. The overall look of the hotel and the lobby in particular was nice.

The pool is a splash pool and I could not swim laps in that. It’s just for kids to bounce around. The hot tub was broken. The gym had a stepper and a bike which were old but adequate and nobody was there so it was perfect to chat on the phone

Clean and AC cranked Lady at front desk was super helpful and friendly. And she kindly accommodated my request for a ground floor room.

Easy location right off highway. Close enough to point pleasant without the shore craziness
